Dates Skied: 2/14, 2/15, 2/16

Resort: Stratton Mtn

Conditions: Powder!

Trip Report: Friday afternoon snow was slowly ending. Accumulations up to 22 - 24 inches. No crowds, great powder. Have not skied in powder conditions like that at Stratton in a long time. Awesome!
:snow:Saturday was a crowded and warm ski day. 32 at base, 28 degrees at top. Foggy conditions at top, especially late in day, barely any visibility until half way down. Visibility a little bit better at Sun Bowl and less crowded. Powder was great. All and all it was a fun day! Decided it was worth dealing with the crowds to ski the fresh powder.
:spread:

Sunday was colder, 12 a base, 7 degrees at top, and blustery, but sunny. It was still crowded, thinned out quite a bit in the afternoon. The gondola was not running for a while in am due to the wind. It was up and running again in the afternoon. Avoided main base area all morning and early afternoon due to long lines. Sun Bowl had long lines as well, but less crowded than base area. Still great powder for skiing and soft mogul runs. The top was getting icy and windblown in spots in afternoon. In spite of the crowds, it was a great ski weekend!
