I spent a year in Scotland and they did not have enough snow really for the true alpine resorts to operate. I had to dry ski. But their mountains are legit and it's great that they are getting the goods.

What's the elevation change there? Pretty wild seeing the brown fields in the background. Kinda like being at Heavenly and looking out into Nevada.

FWIW the highest peak, Ben Nevis, is like 4,800 feet above sea level. They get a lot of moisture and there are no trees.

Nope. That's pretty much the only place that has skiing. There's 5 ski areas. I think there is indoor skiing in GB as well
