Had the opportunity to make some turns at the Heritage on Saturday this weekend. Arriving I really didn't know what to expect but after the day on the hill taking in the experience, I was really impressed at the product! I hadn't skied Haystack/The Hermitage in 20+ years, I think the old transfer lift was still running. Either way remembered my love of the funky terrain in the first few runs.

Although the snow was a bit manky in spots, the groomed terrain (which was about 80%) was excellent spring conditions. Most every trail was covered side to side with a decent base. The tree skiing areas that have been re-developed look amazing and all over the hill. Unfortunately the snow conditions didn't permit access. Loved opening up the skis on the empty slopes and laying some serious trenches in the soft spring snow.

The facilities, although some are still a work in progress, are all top notch. From the snowmaking system right down to the cushions on the chairs. No detail has been forgotten.

The great buffet lunch at the Inn (the brisket was to die for) and the valet parking were only the icing on the cake! If I could only afford to be a member!!

Place looks awesome, never been to Haystack/Hermitage but obviously they are improving on the buildings.
