Dang. Tough choice. Stay still to avoid splashing or go for it, possibly attracting him. The shore being so close chooses for you, I guess.

I don't know, I think it's a fake. Maybe I'm just cynical. The guy on the cliff is pointing one way at the shark, and when the camera goes under water he's facing the other direction, and the shark comes from in front. Were there two sharks? The air to water transitions for the camera have some mysterious dark frames, and combined with the roiling water make for the kind of transitions I'd think of if I were going to fake it.

That wasnt a shark attack. If that shark wanted to, he'd be lunch. Im siding with fake.

He also is a pretty terrible swimmer.
