Made from their revolutionary SGO.6 Windproof stretch fabric, the Corrente Wind Tights are not only wind proof, but also incredibly water resistant. The SGO.6 is used on the upper parts of the legs. It has a lightly brushed back for greater insulation while a membrane laminated inside provides effective resistance to seeping moisture. This membrane is also what makes it wind proof. For the rest of the tights, Castelli uses Thermoflex fabric. It's a nylon/lycra blend, brushed on the inside for warmth while the exterior of the fabric has a silicon finish that works as a water repellent layer.
