It's kind of like the clocks in hotel rooms in Las Vegas. It's by design. We want members to lose track of time so they keep clicking through the ads and generating cash for the house.

As I was walking down the street one day
A man came up to me and asked me what the time was that was
on my watch, yeah
And I said
Does anybody really know what time it is
I don't
Does anybody really care
care
If so I can't imagine why
about time
We've all got time enough to cry
Oh no, no
And I was walking down the street one day
A pretty lady looked at me and said her diamond watch had
stopped cold dead
And I said
Does anybody really know what time it is
I don't
Does anybody really care
care
If so I can't imagine why
about time
We've all got time enough to cry
Oh no, no
And I was walking down the street one day
Being pushed and shoved by people trying to beat the clock,
oh, so I just don't know,
I just don't know
And I said, yes I said
Background Vocal:
People runnin' everywhere
Don't know the way to go
Don't know where I am
Can't see past the next step
Don't have to think past the last mile
Have no time to look around
Just run around, run around and think why
Does anybody really know what time it is
I don't
Does anybody really care
care
If so I can't imagine why
about time
We've all got time enough to die
Oh no, no

Your old age is showing, welcome to the club. How about this "time" song?
Pink Floyd
Time*Lyrics*

Mason, Waters, Wright, Gilmour) 7:06
The Dark Side of The Moon

Ticking away the moments that make up a dull day*
You fritter and waste the hours in an offhand way.*
Kicking around on a piece of ground in your home town*
Waiting for someone or something to show you the way.*

Tired of lying in the sunshine staying home to watch the rain.*
You are young and life is long and there is time to kill today.*
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you.*
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun.*

So you run and you run to catch up with the sun but it's sinking*
Racing around to come up behind you again.*
The sun is the same in a relative way but you're older,*
Shorter of breath and one day closer to death.*

Every year is getting shorter never seem to find the time.*
Plans that either come to naught or half a page of scribbled lines*
Hanging on in quiet desperation is the English way*
The time is gone, the song is over,*
Thought I'd something more to say.

*
