Urge Endur-O-Matic Helmet
We'd love to call the Urge Endur-O-Matic Helmet "new and improved," but that wouldn't make any sense (if it's new, by definition, it can't be an improved version of something). Born from DH and enduro designs but meant for all-around trail and all-mountain riding, what the Endur-O-Matic is, however, is a serious upgrade for your dome piece in case you happen to be looking to scrap that old egg shell that wanted to retire three years ago.
Urge is a relatively new name in the helmet game, utilizing sustainable materials and eco-friendly manufacturing processes wherever possible, but that doesn't mean its earth-hugging ways come at a compromise of protection. The Endur-O-Matic utilizes "in-mould" formation technology in shaping the recycled EPS shock-absorbing liner into the helmet's shell, which itself offers very generous coverage. The 30mm-diameter circular air vents are strategically placed to create what Urge calls its internal Venturi effect for head cooling, and for additional comfort and fit precision, the padding is removable, washable, and replaceable by any of the included replacement pads of varying densities and thicknesses. And the Endur-O-Matic's super deluxe bonus feature? No, it's not the super light and flexible visor. The Gangsta pad, a thick pad that goes over the brow and is ventilated via external ducts to rapidly evacuate moisture and keep your cranium cooler than it already is.
