Thinking of skipping work and skiing Mount Snow Wednesday. Is this worth my time? Weather isn't looking stellar. I badly need a day off after Easter madness. I'm limited to only Mount Snow due to time constraints.

If the weather isn't cooperative, the Bluebird can be a godsend. Bubble down gets you 7.5 minutes out of whatever mother nature has falling from the sky!

Just check their snow report tomorrow night, as sometimes in years past, if they're looking at a wet mid week day in April, they may choose to not spin the lifts that day to keep traffic off the snowpack

I've decided I'm being a bit foolish since I already now have Thursday afternoon and Friday off to ski Jay Peak. I will likely ski next Wednesday instead. Hoping Mount Snow is open and prices aren't bad. I only live 50 minutes away.

Their operating schedule for next week will probably be out this Thursday or Friday

The 3 options are a) This Sunday is the last day (seems like the least likely option based on all indications unless the weather next week looks like it's going to be a gigantic, prolonged washout) b) Daily operations through at least Sunday the 19th (possible and fully dependent per the GM on what mid week on hill traffic is like this week or c) after this Sunday, they'll shut down mid week and re-open the following weekend

I think most areas, especially southern, will see a very significant snow loss by early next week.Sat Sun,Monday have temps reaching towards 70 by Monday.Plan accordingly.
