Resort or Ski Area: Okemo - Ludlow, VT
Conditions: Wet, Spring Conditions
Trip Report: First trip of the year and I decided to go with Okemo. Cost only $35 (45 less 10 coupon I had), so you couldn't beat it. Good first day out, skied from 8:30 to about 1pm after my legs were cooked. I am glad the ra*n let up, since it was pouring the entire ride up. Nonetheless, I was determined to get some skiing in. I was suprised to see some bumps form up, although the line of the day was "I thought this trail was groomed" - seriously... I kid you not. None the less I was happy to get out on the snow. Overall a good way to start the season, even without any wax on my skis!
And of course the photos:
There are bumps there, although I can't tell which way is up or down...
Snow! Well sort of!
I'll take the WROD for 600 Alex:
There is a lift in that fog... and it also includes butt warmers!
Seriously though it felt good to be out...
