Its a documentary about one of the most dangerous downhill courses.
I'm planning on renting it from Amazon this week.

An excerpt from the article:
“The first time I was at the start I was really scared,” says former ski racing phenom Didier Cuche at the beginning of the documentary STREIF: One Hell of a Ride. “All of the guys are making jokes in the evening. They’re saying, ‘Don’t unpack too much your stuff, because I don’t want to pack for you tomorrow if you go to hospital.”

When you just ski it casually. It's not so bad.. We dragged my mother down it... Was the last time she put skis on...

Just looked and noticed the race will be aired Saturday on a 3 hour delay. WTH! Why cant this be live?

Amazing how fast he's going just a few seconds out of the gate! That downhill course has a lot more tight sections than most courses I've seen! :-o

Watched the Lauberhorn DH this weekend and is even way tighter.Some sections look like a bobsled run.

absolutely

There was one section in the middle where some of the skiers were what appeared to be riding up on the ungroomed walls on purpose to maintain a straighter line.

I'll check that out. Checked out a few on tv this season when you can find them. Don't like watching slalom or GS. Too boring. SuperG isn't bad to watch. DH is the best. One 2 minute adrenaline run and done! Only downhill run I've been on is the Birds of Prey at Beaver Creek. Of course I was doing it a lot more controlled and it wasn't sprayed with water to turn it into a sheet of ice! :-o :lol:

Thanks, never heard of that station, will have to see if I get it when I get home tonight. Would definitely wake up early for this.

OK,I dont have Universal HD or NBC sports at my ski house and just talked to TWC and I cant buy it for the evnt or day.Anybody know where to get it online?
