Odd. Very odd. I give it two seasons at most.
Well there are lots of places that seem to survive or have returned.

Living Memorial Park Snow Sports Ski Area - Brattleboro, VT

Abenaki Ski Area Wolfeboro, NH

Lost Valley, Auburn, ME

And there are plenty of others. There is huge void where kids and adults alike are willing to ski something small for low dollars and is local to the town. For example, the first two are $5 to ski at the up a notch is Lost Valley has rates starting at $25. They used to do 2 hour blocks for $10 which we did passing through from Sugarloaf. We have tried the other two for the fun of it and they are cool local hills serving those locals not so fortunate to ski the bigger, more distant hills.

I live about a mile from here. The city has a snow making equipment so they can offer sledding in non snowy years. They have use in the city park just up the road. Must be a park thing.
