Skied 3 runs and decided it's not worth getting hurt. Summit is down to just 10th...Conifer and Smith are done. Everything else is still open. Was hoping for mashed potatoes and all but every trail is glaciated ice with running water on top. Impossible to edge and other than an occasional pile of loose snow, impossible to turn. Saw some first timers up there for some reason...they'll never ski again probably.

Gonna take a big recovery effort to come back from this. At this hour it's STILL 75 degrees in leominster. When the freeze comes back tomorrow I can't even imagine how ugly it's gonna be. Very sad for all these areas during a vacation week.

Well yeah, of course the skiing sucked, but what about the "Deck party" event they said was going on today. How did it compare to Reggae Fest at Sugarloaf? Probably a somewhat quieter affair. ;)

Hope they can bounce back from this brutal heat wave. Upcoming temps looks pretty challenging for making snow there. Their "rest of season" pass doesn't even start until Feb. 26th. Won't sell many of those if they get down to bare ground.

Ski’d Wa this morning and was shocked at how good it was.

challenger and look mom continue to be the best on the hill as has been the case all season. Edge to edge and deep hero snow.

however it looks like all the whales were knocked down and spread out so I’d suggest y’all get out early tomorrow or Thursday and get some.

It takes a licking and keeps on ticking. Hope they don't get too much rain on Friday.
