I plan to ski with my air bag fully deployed all day at Huntah for safety.

Isn't an air bag at Huntah just someone from Queens wearing an 80's vintage fart bag who binged on leftover Chipotle for breakfast?? ;)

We got more than one meter of rapidly accumulated snow on top of a refrozen layer following several days of above zero temperatures with the March sun.

Conditions like that out West would put the avalanche risk at 4-5 for several days. Anyone playing in open slopes above 30 degrees presently is taking risks especially in terrain traps such as gullies, where a lot of good northeast backcountry skiing is.
