Saturday has UGLY potential across the open areas of New Enlgand for sure, fall temps once the system clears will set up whatever likely liquid falls at some point on the front end of the storm.

Sunday will be an under the guns situation for those still able to spin lifts.

Next week will see a bunch of snowmaking porn pics allover ski area social media feeds for sure!

No matter where you go the base will be firming up....

And don't underestimate K picking up elevation oriented front and backside snow, and then lake effect.

K needs it or at least good sustained cold. North Ridge took a beating, still ok but nothing like 2 weeks ago now. They are pushing Upper Dipper and Downdraft today but guns only on from the great northern cutover and above. Lower SS took an absolute beating. That cold needs to get here, snow control for the WC is racing up on them.

I'm guessing that with the weather window next week, and what those 128 or so guns along the side of Superstar can do, that they'll be able to pass snow control check without a problem

    Yep!

And just for the sake of argument, What happens if they get a 2 foot dump within the 48hr window before the races are scheduled? Gonna be a soft surface that will take time to freeze down and groom in... What do they do?
