Figured it out. I had an older bookedmarked url that wasn't HTTPS. I changed it and all seems well now.

oh good. Is https all working for you now? AZ was getting removed from indexing in google bc of it.
The next thing I need to figure out is if I want to migrate forum software entirely. The problem I have is that vb 4.x doesn't have a mobile template that is really any good and google is putting results mobile first which has killed a lot of organic search traffic.
