Skied there a couple years ago; walking distance from a friend's place in town. Fun little slope and $5 lift tickets are hard to beat. They even had a few terrain park features set up on one side of the Tbar!

Good article. I’ve wanted to stop at this place and take a few turns on the way back to I-91 from Mount Snow.

We took my niece there a few years back. It's a great place to make a few turns. It's been active on the weekends the last few seasons. My wife and I will occasionally head to the ice rink there to do a little skating.

Was talking to a maintenance work there about a month ago. He mentioned they're planning on building a new ski jump. Said one of his first tasks when he was hired by the town was to help tear the old one. I didn't even know there was one. Guess it makes sense though with the big one across the way. He also mentioned it would be usable year round with the plastic stuff. Bit of details here...

Thanks for posting that. I had read that earlier and completely forgot about it. That will be a nice addition to the Harris Hill jump.

I spoke with someone who lives in Brattleboro and used to jump when he was younger. He said there were a number of smaller ramps kids would start on, then build up to bigger jumps as they got older; eventually getting up to jumps the size of Harris Hill.
