Got a bit more on top of that from the squall this afternoon, too. Only after that petered out, close to closing time, did the wind turn hellaciously cold. Fun day - half bluebird, half snowglobe - if you could get it.

It was good all around. They also had a crazy snow gun test on the North side. Had all the old guns out to show their inefficiency.

Is that first shot down the far edge of Westway? I saw a couple tracks there, and figured someone had the right combination of opportunism and disregard for their skis to just go for it.

Poaching Westway is a sure fire way to piss off ski patrol..
It's dangerous AF and they don't like risking their bodies for stupidity...

Nope..they do not..especially on that ice sheet..i remember when i grabbed one and told him i saw a guy on clairs when it was closed for a water line break..glare ice..the guy just looked at me..cursed..they found the guy walking down through the woods
Oh..its snowing at Stowe. :)
