Resort: Mount Snow, Dover VT

Conditions: Bluebird day, Machine Groomed

Report: First day out for me this season, I kicked it off up at Snow. I have to say that the snow makers did a great job getting the coverage nice and deep. Spent the day lapping Cascade, Canyon, Long John, and Free Fall. Overall the crowds were manageable, although there was a wait for the blue bird. Happy they were blowing snow throughout the day too. A nice strong start to the season!

A minute from the Alta exit off the I-15!
Killington Waffle Cabin was up to $5.75 for a waffle this season!!!!

I haven't gotten a Waffle since Obama's first term. But one of my favorite Killington memories of all-time is on a stunning April 40 degree bluebird day after a crazy powder day I bought a Powerade from the Waffle Cabin and drank it basking in the sun riding up the Snowdon Triple, just thinking about how awesome this life is.

Nice pics! They really widened Long John. Hopefully that helps with flow on that trail. It could get rather busy there during peak season.

They widened a majority of the trail last season, but it didn’t improve much especially considering that it leads to multiple different trails.
