Today was opening day for Mountain Creek, they said it was the earliest opening in their history. It was just the beginner trail, Sugar Slope served by the Sugar Quad lift. But since it's down the road and I have a pass I had to go. It was great to get out and start my season, a couple weeks earlier than I expected.

I got there about 9:30 and picked up my season pass. The lift opened at 10:00, I got 4th chair. The snow was nice packed powder. I lapped the tail for an hour and a half, there's only so many times I could ski the beginner trail.
