Hope nobody was inside. Was there any Olympic memorabilia in that lodge, I can’t remember.

I don't remember seeing anything inside, but I could be wrong as I didn't spent long inside either time I was there. But the deck on the outside was a great place to grab a beer in the spring. Hope they put a new lodge there.

There 100% should have been, but thank god there wasnt.

It was run as boring & as sterile as you'd expect from a government run facility, but if it was run competantly some historical treasures would have been lost. So here's to government incompetance!

I haven't been there in a while but I don't recall much Olympic Memorabilia. Just a great classic A-frame with those giant windows and fantastic views. They say it won't affect today's operations, but from the pictures I've seen it appears to be a total loss. I hope some of the same architecture will be incorporated if/when they rebuild...

And no working sprinkler system! Total loss.

I'd be looking for answers if I was a passholder or planning to buy lift tickets this season since they effectively lost 1/3 of their food service operations.

Here’s the answer: pick up a sub and a bag of chips.

See my prior post re: government run. The answer would be go pound sand & ski elsewhere, because we have no financial responsibility for this place succeeding or not.

It's such a joke that states think they can be good at running ski resorts efficiently.
