    Cold January on tap

    From the NWS: https://www.cpc.ncep.noaa.gov/produc...ictions/30day/

Precipitation is supposed to be below average. But I don't believe this takes into account lake-effect. So maybe not so bad on the snowfall side as well.

    Any weather-geek comments?

Yes January is looking cold, certainly to start. Couple weather guys I follow have been pretty good with cold Nov, warmer Dec and now have been predictng a colder J/F/M. Hope it pans out.

Unfortunately we may pay the price next weekend. Hopefully the forecast improves but not great right now.
    2018/19 = 36
    2017/18 = 37
    2016/17 = 31
    2015/16 = Depressing
    2014/15 = 28
    2013/14 = 27

Far from a done deal. And the Euro provides a post rain snow event. CAD even takes it south, though that's unlikely. But again, not a done deal...
