[NH Chronicle] Right Now - Training Teens to Join the Ski Patrol

That's the feature on tonight's NH Chronicle.

Having gone through WEC/OEC at 17, and doing my candidate year that year and becoming a full patroller at the end of that year, I would say that I really don't think this is a good idea in general. I was thankful at the end of every day that nothing had happened because I was so scared that I'd forget something. Really, for me, it ended up being a great way to spend time with my dad, and get skiing in. Some kind might be ok with it, I guess, but I know I wouldn't encourage my kids to do it.
