I was waiting for Sugarbush to close to hang up my skis. Now that they have announced that they're done, I am going to call it a season myself at 118 days (105 - Sugarbush, 4 - Stowe, 9 - Killington).

And a very good season, it was.

My season ended today with 27 days from December 8th to May 1st. Next year I hope to get 30-40 days out.

today was my last day for the season. Didn't make my 70 days, but 69 isn't a bad number! Had a great season and met some nice people. Can't wait for snow to fly. The passes are already bought for next year!

Now that my son is really starting to find his skiing legs, there is a little bit more incentive for me to go skiing. It's fun to visit old places, as well as discovering new ones with him.

Long Island is not the best place to be a skier, especially as far away as we are from any bridge or tunnel to ski country, you must know that better than I living further out east.

All to well..but on the flip side I think its one of the best places to be during the summer with the water around us. :)

i like to pretend i'm bode

OKAY!

1/30 Waterville Valley
1/31 Bretton Flats
2/28 Loon
3/14 Attitash
3/20 Wildcat
3/21 Tenney
And every Friday night at B.W. and LOTS of days at Cannon Mountain!!!

Highlights: 3/27 Easter Sunday, a beautiful bluebird day at Cannon, skiing tree trails at all the resorts, and 4/10, Cannons closing day, when I got severe sunburn. Hey how do you count it, if you work at a ski area, and you clock out every day for a nice two hour lunch break on the front five???

I think I got about 20 days

I lost track after six (break even point for my pass @ Wachusett).

Highlights: First time @ Wildcat. A bluebird day with great skiing and no corwd. *drool* I'll go back! Went back to Okemo finally. My Wa pass gave me a 50% discount! That was a first (using the available discount). Bought new boots, bought new skis, Met Trail Boss! Took a few mornings off and hit Wa.

It was a very good season for me.

Hope to put Cannon back on the to do list next year...and keep Okemo and Wildcat as well.

Discovering Wildcat

It took a week for the smile to wear off!

What a day!

Loved having a beer on the deck.

Loved the music on the deck.

Loved the view, lack of crowds, fast lift lines, great trails....Lynx, Wildcat, Cheetah.

*drool*

Only made it out 10 days this year. A few less than we had planned. We did have very good quality though, topped off by by an awesome week at Sugarbush in early March. Skied 3 new places,Butternut, Sugarbush and MRG.

Not enough days out for me...I let stoopid work bs get in the way...really cramped my midweek style. And looks like my midweek paradise is coming to an end. My stategy and goal to aviod the weekend crowds: Backcountry splitboard.
