Good to get up to the mountains for a weekend. Lift lines were pretty short; although longer than I remember for the typical Saturday at the Cat. Conditions were really good on most of the mountain. Groomed stuff was soft, bumps were pretty nice in areas, woods were pretty skied off, but there was still fresh to be found, even over a week after a storm. Brought my buddy Evan along for his first "woods skiing" experience... I'd say he had a good time and maybe he will chime in with a few more pics. Anyways, here's what you are all looking at the thread for. Upper Wildcat was skied off early, Lynx was nice pretty much all day. Polecat was nice for most of the day. Lower Catanery was pretty icy, Copy Cat was great, TopCat was pretty good and Black Cat was awesome! Hopefully they keep blowing some snow on the gondi line so the spring skiing will be good with some T2B bumps!
Hmm
Evan catching some sweet air, one of my favorite photos of the day
Me, checking out a drop:
Me Hitting that same drop:
Me hitting some other small drop:
I really like this shot that Evan took:
Fresh Powder!
Evan carving like a madman:
Evan getting some first tracks
Smiles all around
Tight lines yield some powder:
Skiing fast... and trying to stay in control too:
