I have the pleasure to announce that the time has come to open up for our 55th Winter Season at Mount Snow!

Thanks to the non-stop assault by our snowmakers we will be opening tomorrow - Monday, December 7th at 9am.

We'll be open with the following trails - Long John, Cascade, Canyon, Nitro, Titanium, Launch Pad, Beaver Hill. This will be approximately 70 acres of skiing and riding for all abilities. Gaitor and crew are working to have roughly 10 features on Nitro consisting of rails, boxes and bonks.

Tomorrow morning the Grand Summit Express Quad will be spinning for summit access as well as the Canyon Express and Discovery Shuttle on the Main Face. The Nitro Express at Carinthia will be turning to access Nitro and Long John.

Lift tickets will be as follows:

Full Day
$49 Adults / $39 Young Adults / $29 Junior/Senior

Afternoon
$39 Adults / $29 Young Adults / $19 Junior/Senior

Lift tickets can be purchased at the Clocktower ticket windows and at Carinthia ticket windows and out of The Vault. The Main Base Lodge and Carinthia Base Lodge will be open for food & beverage.

Any ETA on the North Face? Nice pricing, and an afternoon ticket! Don't see that much anymore.

Immediate expansion plans do have Chute on the northface in there. Weather this week looks pretty good so far watching Wednesday closely and later in the week is real cold.

Great News!! Let the games begin!
Hope to make it up early on Wed and miss the weather.
Is it true that since Mount Snow is in the Green Mountain National Forest you can skin up the mountain?
I would buy a ticket anyway but it would be great training.

Yes the upper 1/3 to 1/2 of Mount Snow lies on Forest Service land. If you look at a trail map basically the line follows Sommerset Road - Traverse trail to Carinthia and then across where the pond is over the cut through in the woods.

So you'd be skinning up our property first without a lift ticket ....

see you on Wednesday...
