Conditions: Fast and hard. Not many people and not that cold. Dark and gloomy added to that the depressing sight of lost snow. They groomed as much as they could, not much roy to be found and very flat. Hard to get an edge. Towards the base area things got a bit more loose. Loosing a lot of snow even though we didn't get much rain. Gone to the warm I suppose. Just been too warm. As you can see, we need another dump soon or for the snowmakers to work really hard.

Yikes! We really need some snow.

There is supposed to be a small amount, 4~6" tomorrow. Maybe we'll get lucky and get some more over the next week. Let's hope so, we all really need it.

Castlerock looks like one gnarly run!

Yea, Castlerock is pretty hairy. They have an extreme challenge there every season. I'll get some better pictures of Middle Earth to the right of the main Castlerock lift. It's a nice run.

i was bouncing off of the rocks at Castlerock this past weekend...it was still fun even though very little snow

my friend and I were 2 of four people over there

I couldn't believe the lift was running on Sunday. Things were pretty hard packed.

i thought getting down to the double was harder than skiing the trails up there....it was pretty obvious they didn't want too many people venturing over there
