Hey, that looks familar!

Now all we need is some new stories, one involving a ton of snow being dumped all over the North East would be best.... ;)

Indeed. It really looks great Brian. Thanks for your help, especially the cool pagination!

I should mention that the new approach under vBulletin is a bit different. The news portal (list of articles at http://news.alpinezone.com) pulls data from a static cached version of an XML file that includes the article summary details. Each hour the XML file is updated by "polling" the forum database again. This should result in far less strain on the database server. All RSS feeds and the "Latest Headlines" and "Recent Discussions" lists on the left border of the main site are all handled in the same way. Each article is pulled directly from the database however. Hopefully, this new approach will not result in what eventually pulled the phpBB-driven forum and news down...
