I'm a little surprised that there's such a large gap between Sugarbush and Stowe.

I suspect conspiracy, what with "Get that shit out of my way" getting 2 first place votes on the terrain park.
May have been that price-gap, which Sugarbush seems to now have closed based on this year's pricing data.I'm a little surprised that there's such a large gap between Sugarbush and Stowe.
I am sooo surprised Bretton Woods doesn't show on the grooming list.
good eye Bill, i checked and missed their 1 first place vote.
1 Okemo 74
2 Stratton 40
3 Sunday River 39
4 Sunapee 29
5 NONE 14
6 Mad River Glen 12
7 Bretton Woods 12
8 Magic 10
9 Stowe 9
10 Killington 9
Received all three of my votes for both snowmaking and grooming. I am delighted to see that I was not alone in my thinking.I like that Mad River made the snowmaking and grooming lists.
Its because most of the Bush homers on AZ still haven't skied at Stowe.I'm a little surprised that there's such a large gap between Sugarbush and Stowe.
No Loon? They should've gotten some "snowmaking" and "grooming" votes, no? And terrain park...?
The unofficial, unsponsored results are in.
scoring was done:
1st place vote = 5 points
2nd place vote = 3 points
3rd place vote = 1 point.
i left the point total visible so, if interested, you could see how close things were (or weren't).
there was a total of 47 responses, not everyone answered every question.
That was me.I suspect conspiracy, what with "Get that shit out of my way" getting 2 first place votes on the terrain park.

I'm sure that's a pretty accurate assessment.
I'm a Sugarbush homer who didn't vote in this poll and I've skied a lot at Stowe. I have found that a lot of season pass holders / property owners at Sugarbush have skied around a lot of places in New England before they decided to call the Mad River Valley their ski home.
I'm the opposite. Never been to Sugarbush.I think he was referring to some of the more active members on here, like myself, who love Sugarbush and sing it's praises, yet have never been to Stowe.
