Considering the weather we got coming..you might want to get out there..soon...
Could you please elaborate? I'll be in UT Thursday night...

Also, is Alta worth it for intermediate newbies or should we just stick with areas closer to Park City?

Alta is expecting 6 to 10 inches wednesday...we are expecting rain...
Alta has plenty of areas for all abilities..and they get ay more snow than park city and a lift ticket can be had for 64.00 as compared to park city areas which run over 80.00......go to Alta.....

Wednesday Night: Snow showers. Some thunder is also possible. Low around 12. Wind chill values as low as -9. Windy, with a southwest wind between 32 and 36 mph, with gusts as high as 55 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of 7 to 11 inches possible.

Thursday: Snow showers. High near 18. Blustery, with a west wind between 17 and 23 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible.

when they report this..sometimes it can double....

Always worth the trip from Park City... Plenty of terrain for everyone.
