13th Annual Motorcycle HillClimb at Gunstock, Wednesday June 15, 2005

GILFORD, New Hampshire — After a cold and snowy spring that has brought little to the area but rain, the sun is now out and the motorcycle engines are roaring in the Lakes Region. On June 15th Gunstock hosts the 13th Annual Motorcycle Hillclimb. Watch as 200 dirt bike riders attempt to summit the 70 meter ski jump landing hill. This American Motorcycle Association sanctioned event has become one of the largest events during Bike Week and an annual tradition for bikers and non-bikers. This event has become so popular that the World Famous Budweiser Clydesdales will be there

Michael Farnsworth and RidgeRunners Promotions conduct this first-class hillclimb. The Farnsworth's have four generations of their family competing on Wednesday. Divisions feature Pro-Am, Standard, ATV, and Youth Competitors, and will follow AMA rules. Tickets are $15 each and children 12 and under are free. Food Vendors will be serving up tradition BBQ favorites. Beer is not sold on site but you may bring your own in coolers smaller than 14 inches. Please no glass bottles and leave your pet at home.
