I like the Vermont Pub & Brewery in Burlington, The Shed in Stowe, and the Bobcat Cafe in Bristol (back side of Sugarbush/MRG).
I've heard awesome things about The Alchemist in Waterbury and Moat Mountain in North Conway, but havent had a chance to check them out yet.

Long trail after Kmart is a must..get the onion rings and bring a friend! Really enjoy the Woodstock Inn/Brewery if I'm at Cannon or any place around there. Have heard great things about moat mountain in North Conway...it's totally on my list.

i heart the rack. I have heard that there are talks of them brewing once again.

The bag I love for lunch. nothing like a bag burger and brown bag ale before heading back out on the slopes

Did a tasting at Log Trail after a day at killington, its a bit far off the mountain though, to really be considered an Apres spot.

once or twice, when doing trips for large groups to K as a 20-something we would always get our Keg at Long Trail (ok so maybe it happened three times), put the keg on the porch and run the tube through the window Ahh good times and cold beer all weekend long!!!

so if youve seen the Beer Scicles at "The White House" on the K access road...
yeah that was us...to be 23 again...:spin:

While not really near any (operating) ski areas I believe McNeill's in Brattleboro VT produces soem of the finest beer in New England. I dig the dive bar atmosphere as well. And it just happens to be on the way back from Sneaux for me ;)

well if you are heading in that direction from Mt. snow there is also Maple Leaf brewing company in wilmington, VT. Was only there once, perhaps others can tell more. It was ok for me. I''d hit the royal crown diner at the bottom of molly stark trail and have your dessert at McNeill's.
