I don't think any mountain around here would let that thing on the slopes.

A couple do. Smuggler's notch is one. I think there is another one in Pennsylvania, maybe Greek Peek? I saw it on Facebook yesterday.

Reading compression its clearly one of my strong suits. Just noticed your link to the Smuggler's page.

I remember seeing a video a while back of people skiing trees at MRG with a kneel on sled, not inflatable though. I'm pretty sure Greek doesn't allow it, or at least I've never seen anyone doing it there. How about Jack Jumpers? Anyone here have any experience with them? First time I saw them was at Bolton Valley. I incredulously asked some guy, "They let you take that on the lift?" He said as long as you have a leash on it.

Anyone ever try this?

It basically looks like a sled / boogie board combo with ridges so you can get some directional control.

Smuggler's Notch has certain trails during certain times that are used for this. Seems like a fun different way to experience the slopes.
All I see is a possibility for a lot of pain in this video! If Smugglers Notch has it it's probably in a small beginners area with tiny little kids with very limited speed and massive supervision. Can't imagine any resort letting people loose with these things onto a longer length regular trail? It would be carnage! Although, it would be funny to watch!

I remember a while back some instructors at Smuggs went airboarding down the top of Sterling. Pretty sure they got in trouble, but nonetheless pretty bold and daring.

Do any mountains in the east allow snowbikes? I saw a couple last year out at Heavenly. One guy was in the glades, tearing it up, and the other was in one of the smaller parks attempting tail whips. Looked super cool and a lot of fun.

Saw someone at Pat's riding one. Looks to be fun for an hour or so and then I think my arse would be killing me.

Buellski video is more scooter(board) then the ski(bike). I have seen the bikes at heavenly. the standing scooter(board) seems more rideable then the sitting bike. the Airboards seem like a wild ride to say the least. The ski, board(skate boards) I have seen out west though are scary. the people wear lacrosse/hockey equipment for protection while riding them.
