I'd like to meet the m-er f-er that named it Attitash, and shove a broom up his a-s.

Seriously, from an aesthetic AND marketing standpoint, naming the place Attitash shows me that the founder/owner has a few screws loose.

Say it out loud. So stupid.

Whats wrong with the name? Sounds like it's likely of native american origin, probably had that name long before anyone was skiing on it.

Yes, true, but it sounds rediculously awful. You're telling me you have to name a mountain after a few Indians that named the area long ago?

I guess your right, how about that Sugarbush tribe -- they were pretty rowdy!

Attitash = Native American for Blueberry. It is a regional thing. You really need to chill. I would not get worked up over a place because of the name it has.
