I would keep it, but I'm cheap like that.

I've got an 03 Saab 9-3 now has 160k on it, still runs fine. probably worth like 5000. I own it though so I really don't want to get rid of it and maintenance has been pretty good.

How is it on repairs, if it's running good from a financial standpoint it always makes more sense to keep it. Just depends on if you have the income to buy a new car or not.

Keep the Audi.

Three friends who have had Wranglers all sold them or traded them in at the end of their lease and said they wouldn't ever buy one again. I'm glad too because I had to ride in those things. I do see their attraction as a 2nd or better yet 3rd car but not as a daily driver.

94k miles is just getting broken in...I'd keep the Audi.

I like the middle-age period on cars...it's paid for, it's old enough that you don't sweat every potential scratch and bump, and it's new enough to not have to worry about whether it will get you where you need to go.

(OK, so it is 9 years old, but the mileage is low)

I could keep and buy, but not going to.

i did have everything done at the 90k service (timing belt, hoses, pumps, plugs, brakes etc)

IMHO, here are the 2 key questions:

1) Can you keep the Audi and get the jeep?

2) Have you changed the timing belt on the Audi? IIRC, they recommend doing the timing belt/water pump on that sucker at about 90k no?

On the 1.8T engine, the timing belt recommendation is 105K

I've heard of people losing it much sooner than that. I'd be nervous with more than 90K for sure. I have around 60K on mine since it was last changed and I'm already thinking about when I'll change it again.

Keep the Audi.

I have owned 4 wranglers over the years, the last being a 1999 Sport, 6 cyl, 2dr, with 31" tires. That Jeep was awsome, a true off road beast. Around 2003 I started looking at new cars and jeeps were on top of the list. By that point they just were not the same, complete junk compared to the one I currently owned. From what I have read they have only got worse. If you want one to take the top and doors off and cruise around in, than one models from the last 10 years may be OK. But if you want to take it off road.....don't. Your asking for trouble. And jeeps are notoriously expensive to repair / maintain.

Put a lift kit on the Audi.

LOL...that's it wa-loaf..;-) Together with some Grabber AT2s(GeneralTire) :spin:...LOL, or dare should I say...some BFG KM2s..LOL = turn her into a real woods-buggy..LOL.

Quattro....eyes focused on anything particular? type of vehicle? I saw an article about BMW's new SUV, or one of the new ones..(name??..argghh), although in same ballpark mileage as the rest of us...was pretty impressive in everything else...y/n?
Might indeed be a good time for something new...$8k's not bad...but have you tried higher, or is that the going rate? What's going on with prices...? I'm wayyy out here in Maine. You ever taken a look in pseudo-depressed states like Maine = some prices are really good...some are so-so.
