AZ - For Sale

Hi everyone,

As I’m sure many of you have noticed , I’ve been running out of bandwidth to properly support AZ for quite some time now. For years I’ve really just been doing the bare minimum—keeping the lights on with hosting and resolving issues when they came up. I’ve always done that because I love this community and didn’t want to see it shut down, but I know that’s not enough for it to really thrive.

With that in mind, I’m looking to sell AlpineZone to a new owner who can give it the attention it deserves. I do already have an offer from a third party, but I’d much rather see it go to someone from within the community if there’s interest.

I’m not asking for much—around $3k. With some fresh energy, it would be pretty straightforward to grow revenues beyond just AdWords by tapping into social media, rebuilding ski area relationships, and so on.

It’s been a really fun run, and I’m grateful for everyone who’s been part of this community over the years. But I also know I’m not the right person to take it forward, and I’d love to see someone here carry it into the future.

Thanks, no specific timeline, whenever the right person comes around. I've been batting this decision around for a while. I will say if I don't hear from anyone who might be interested in a a few weeks, I will reach out to the team that already made an offer.
