I ended up going to all 4 of the Banff Mountain Film Festival venues here in CT. My assesment is that the JCC audience in New Haven got the shaft. Even though the high quality film, Didier Vs The Cobra, was played, there were few other really good films (Aweburg maybe). Additionally, the seating was poor and the screen was a bit too low for good viewing.
The best film of the tour was Conflict Tiger and could be viewed only at New London's Connecticut College which happened to have plenty of open seats. The best crowd could be found in Glastonbury and the most new viewers could be found in Deep River.
