To all the dads out there

Happy Father's Day!

Sorry 'bout the 1 day delay, I was tied up pretty much all day long (I don't even think I took my phone with me, which is rare!)

We had a nice day. Went golfing in the morning with my father in law and brother in law. Then went back to my brother in law's house for a cookout - had a bunch of Corona's, lobster & steamers. Good stuff.

Thanks Nick!

I had a nice time with my kids and my dad on a MTB ride. That was after getting some quality time for myself on a ride with friends. Then we went over to see my wife's dad for a while.

Actually I guess my father's day started with watching the end of Greg's bands gig, which ended around 1am. Good times were had for all there too!

Nice weekends really make going back to work on Monday that much harder.... :smash:

EDIT: Oh yeah, happy belated father's day to all the rest of the dads out there! What did you all do to celebrate?

Not usually big on these types of holidays, but yesterday was kind of exciting since it was my first one as a Dad! Nice mt. bike ride and then a family dinner out at Gritty's (a local brew pub) with my parents.

Did you have 6 foot tall flames coming out of the fire?

I wouldnt have it any other way. Its time for a new chiminea though. That one is literally burned out.

We'll be having a summer blowout this year, i expect you to attend.

Then it sounds like it was a good father's day!

Only on 2 conditions;

a.) There's the obligatory event where you launch your bike off of that ramp made out of saw horses (or whatever), while half in the bag.

II) I don't have to climb over that fence into the neighbor's yard again...

Down on Cape Cod for the week. We ate plenty of great seafood, every day and took long walks on several beaches .

Then back up to my daughter's place in 495 land for the weekend with her family . Golfed with my son in law and grandson #2 , took in my granddaughters Modern dance recital, then a great Mexican Dinner @ the Border a fav while in the greater Boston region ------------------ Awesome Fathers / Grandfather's Day Week

A guy my wife works with just got pretty bad burns (not sure what degree) when trying to jump a bonfire at a party while completely sloshed. He tripped and fell into the fire instead of over it.

Luckily he got pulled out pretty quick but he got burned pretty bad on his left side. He'll be OK though.

moral of the story: Stick your landing.
