For those Mets fans in the NYC area this is a fun bike ride to the ball game:
What: 4th Annual Bike to Shea Day
When: Saturday, May 12, 2007, 11:00AM
Where: Dag Hammarskjold Plaza on First Avenue & 47th Street to Shea Stadium in Flushing, Queens
Bike To Shea Day is part of Bike Month NYC 2007 and is created in an effort to highlight safe, alternative ways to travel to most destinations in the City via bicycle lanes and greenways. The six-mile ride will begin in Manhattan with marshals from the Department of Transportation escorting riders on a traffic-free ride to Shea Stadium in Flushing, Queens. Once at Shea, riders will be treated to complimentary valet bicycle parking and an exciting game between the Mets and the Milwaukee Brewers.
