Blizzard on the way---much stonger winds/blinding snows

YOu think last week's snowstorm was something with 50 inches at Sugarloaf; 37 at Killington and Sugarbush and 30 inches pretty much everywhere else in Vermont and the N. Adirondacks around Whiteface, wait till this storm later Sunday/Monday. I can't believe it. The fetch of moisture from the Carolinas, northward, in the vicinity of cold air parked over Quebec, is down right incredible. This storm will track further west than its predecessor and bring winds to 40 MPH plus, and real blizzard to Vermont/N. NH and the Adirondacks. I am not going to say where exactly, but the chances are 70% you will be hearing about snow amounts exceeding 2 feet by Monday morning and drifts 4-7 feet high...what a winter

lets not get ahead of ourselves

1) A very quick moving storm

2) Lots of moisture, but will temps not as cold as last time, 1 inch of rain will equal just about 10 inches of snow, where last time 1 inch = 20 inches of snow

3) Farther west track means a dry slot somewhere

Jim, just let me know please by including in email flash which day I should take off from work this week. I can only take one day as I'm saving for the holiday.

Thanks again for the weather updates.
