I hope Blue's new RFID card sensor ticket reading turnstiles work allright. I guess every single time, you must go through such a turnstile to get on a lift.

Good job by Blue Mountain. Root and the Blue Crew I'm depending on you guys to keep us well informed on whats going on there this season. (I wanna know when Main Street bumps go up). CBK has the Glen Lift (Terrain Park) lift going as of today. This past weekend they used their tubing hill as a terrain park (whoop de doo - I did not go). The good news is that they are blowing a blizzard up on the main mountain. They haven't announced when regular operations will comence but with Blue opening Friday I would expect Camelback to do the same. With this good snap of cold weather and a good opportunity to blow I would expect a good selection of trails to be open. The Pocono season starts this weekend:beer:

Saturday (short day; need to pick up new fangled passes, don't know how the line is gonna be. Then take Mrs Christmas shopping later that day).
Sunday will be a full day.

I am so pumped to be going back to Blue! Hopefully, the death cookies will be dispersed by the weekend. But really, I don't care.

Planning on hitting something in the Pocono's on Friday night, but not sure where. Most likely either Blue or Camelback. Originally was going to ski Jack Frost, but they're not opening until Saturday.

Anklebiter:

Don't know about Blue but Camelback will probably not start nights till around the 17th. If you mean PM you'll be ok.

I guess so? Hard to tell with Blue these day. I'll let you know after I get out there on Friday.

Have fun at Blue's opening day! I'll be taking my son to Mt. Peter for their opening day on Saturday, it will be his first day of the season.
