It was touched on somewhere in on of these threads. Get off the boat and back into ski thinking.
I'll be up this weekend get my passes and see if we can't get some info. The Gringo Harry's sign is back. A few of us are hiking Sr on Sat and doing a BBQ.. Boyne bougt Sr and Sugarloaf. They have MTN biking and chair lift rides anything else you want to know Jerry.:)

All fairness I had not seen the 2nd article posted until today. North peak is a great local for this.

I think if they are going to do this, they are looking to better serve a few markets: weekend warriors who want to get in a few turns when they get up to the river on friday night, the teenage crowd which will allow parents to stick their kids on the hill and get a few cold ones and the local school programs.

If that is the market it would make sense to service some sort of a park, bumps or gates. Also put it in a spot that promotes alcohol sales.

Point is North Peak makes sense from the perspective of terrain and the lift orientation but they already have a setup on white cap. This would have made more sense to me if they took advantage of the existing activities at white cap. Unless this is part of a longer term plan to refocus night time activities towards south ridge and north peak.

I think by having broadway open it offers a way back to South ridge. ie a bar and rest. plus shutte service. All condo folk can grab that shuffte back to the Condos from there. Not sure if they can catch one of the parksd at the bottom of south ridge of not. Kind of hope they have a prk on the North peak anyway.

I'm still dreaming of that silky corn we ripped at Wildcat in May. What a blast!

I probably would go out for a few runs no matter what, but hanging inside with a beverage it a good thing also. 3 hours in a car with the fam... it won't seem quite so cold outside.
