BRETTON WOODS, New Hampshire — Dave Matthews Band fans are appreciated at Bretton Woods Mountain Resort! To show just how much, Bretton Woods is throwing a party for them on April 16 and 17, 2005. Although the Dave Matthews Band’s latest album, Stand Up, won’t be released until May, band devotees can enjoy some wonderful spring skiing and hear new tracks at the listening party each day.
The Resort will also be celebrating with $25 lift tickets for all skiers and riders April 16 and 17, 2005. As added value, Rolling Stone magazine will include a 1-year magazine subscription with the purchase of each lift ticket at Bretton Woods that weekend.
Along with reduced price skiing, Bretton Woods will be offering free demos both days from many ski and snowboard retailers, including Salomon, Head, Rossignol, Burton, Volkl, Elan, Nordica and Marker.
Bretton Woods will offer a Slopeside BBQ lunch for all DMB partiers. The après ski Listener Party hosted by ULTRASOUND will rock the Bretton Woods base lodge with tracks from Stand Up, the new Dave Matthews Band studio album, on a high performance sound system. Sneak previews of the band’s latest recordings in Australia will also be presented. The Slopeside Pub will feature SPECIAL après ski entertainment (to be announced!) and lots of prizes from the Dave Matthews Band and all of the event partners. Plenty of food and libation specials will keep fans nourished for all the fun.
