Hat's off to Bromley for an amazing recovery from the torch and refreeze. I went with pretty low expectations, just hoping to enjoy the mellow vibe and sunny morning on the south facing trails, but found the mountain in exceptional shape. Bromely has clearly blown a ton of snow and groomed it really well. Of course there were no trees or bumps, but plenty of steep, firm but not icy corduroy to keep me happy all day while my daughter skiied with her friend. Corkscrew to Pabst Peril might have been the fastest I've ever skied in my life! Well done Bromley! After tonight's storm the place will be back to 100% I suspect.
