NORTH CREEK, New York — Jennifer McNinch and Jim Richmond of Brooklyn, NY were married in a beautiful Adirondack ceremony atop Bear Mountain peak at Gore Mountain on Saturday, March 5. The bride, dressed in a long white coat, flowered hat, and ski boots, walked down the decorated race gates at 8am. The couple exchanged vows overlooking the "Fairview" trail, featuring outstanding views of Blue Mountain.
"We love the town. We love the mountain. We love the scenery," said Richmond, who said he and fiancée McNinch have been visiting the Gore Mountain Region for several years. The new couple skied for the remainder of the day, with McNinch donning a white veil on her helmet and garland wrapped around her ski poles.
