raining HARD all day in the NEK. most public schools closed for icy roads in the AM. good bye snow cover!

crazy weather here today. woke up to big time skating rink road, seriously the slickest i've seen thee ice storm in 98. couldn't get to work until 1:30 when the ground finally warmed some and the hammering rain ate it away. Big tractor trailer flipped off the road on 242 just past jay village, pretty big carnage all over. jay closed today too (big shocker), windy and pounding rain until about 4 when it turned to snow and pounding wind. i hope we get some decent snow cuz its getting harder to deal with these repeated rain storms. maybe some more rain on sat? this is getting ridiculous.
