so I am told by my friends and customers.Temps never got above freezing Weds.:snow:,precipitation was mostly snow, snowmaking continues and it should be awesome conditions this weekend-that is,if you are looking for a sweet, uncrowded place to rip it up OR bring your kids and family to.

I was thinking of heading up to Burke this weekend, but on Wednesday evening, their on-line snow report page showed that they only had 19 of 45 trails open. The next morning it was back up to 40 of 45, but I interpreted that as 21 of their trails could be open under questionable conditions. Stowe (judging from their on-line trail report) seems to have lost a bunch as well.

The Friday forecast from the NWS doesn't look so hot either for Stowe or East Burke. Lots of rain, freezing rain, sleet, and some snow forecast. Sounds like ugly conditions. :uzi:
