CAMDEN, ME — The Camden Parks & Recreation Committee is accepting applications for the Marcel LaCasse Scholarships that are granted each year to area youth. The scholarship fund, established in 1985, is an endowment fund from which interest is used to fund skiing activities at the Camden Snow Bowl for underprivileged children in the mid-coast Maine area. Deadline for completed applications is Friday, October 29, 2004 at 3:00 p.m.
