I need to choose a good winter jogging shoe. Currently I am using a pair of NorthFace trail shoes. My only complaint is that there is no traction on hard pack snow. I have good tread, but the rubber does not bite in. Sort of like slick tires on a wet road.

I can walk the same area with a pair of Skecher casual shoes and have no problems.

i just got some new balance 807's ..they work great
I have the same shoes and just love that line of new balances. I think this is the 3rd generation of that shoe that I have owned. I've run with them after blizzards with 6" on the ground and they've been great. Pair them up with some ankle high gaiters and my feet are very happy and dry in the snow!!
