If it happened in April it wouldn't be quite as bad, but now I just have groomer death cookie busting rock skis that weigh 1000 pounds and powder skis with no powder. So I'm having to do lots of research, which is annoying and will need to pull the trigger on something quickly.

Will probably go down to the Front to all those ski shops outside the canyons soon and see what they have in one or two years old. Evo in SLC is good too. First I'll go to a shop in PC where the guy knows us as frequent fliers and gives us really good deals to see if they have something. I'm honestly more annoyed that my Leki carbon poles were stolen at the same time as those suckers cost $170, and even though they were about 15 years old, it doesnt matter as poles last forever.
I would consider narrowing down your options and doing a demo. A lot of shops will let you apply the cost of the demo to a new pair.

Also give a call to the Alta Ski Shop. They have been selling off their demo skis from the last two seasons and they are a good price, include bindings, and are in good shape.

What exactly are you looking for..
What width and length..and for what type of terrain.
Right now..skis that holds on super hardback are the go to..at least fir a while.
I have head kore 105s that I'm thinking of selling..as well as the 92s..
And the 118s...
The 118s were too big after a while so the 105s where the go to.
