Gentlemen,

In light of the recent weather here in the Northeast, I'd like to ask your help in bringing some snow to New England. Although going without a heavy jacket in January is briefly refreshing, skiing in the rain isn't quite so much.

If snow is too much to ask, please just send consistant temperatures below 32F. You don't have to go crazy and send that sub-zero stuff like in Russia, just good snowmaking weather.

I think Ullr must be sleeping with.....Pele....("She-Who-Shapes-The-Sacred-Land", or the Goddess of a Thousand Names, Pele was a passionate fire goddess who commanded both fear and respect. Pele is both a destructive and creative force.)

Well, she appears to be in "destructive force" mode. Figures that would happen when Ullr stepped out on Mother Nature. Whatever happened to stable, loving relationships ? Enough warm and fuzzies for Ullr....I think he's due for a smackdown and some reprioritizing.... :dunce:

Saw a scientist guy on the TV the other day who said there's a pretty strong La Nina in place this year (warm water in western Pacific, as I recall) which is why we are warmer than usual and the folks in the Pacific NW are getting hammered with snow every week. This guy made it sound like it would persist for most of the winter.....bummer.

Head for Whistler or Big Sky for huge snow right now.....
